Under the PM Awas Yojana (Pradhan
Mantri Awas Yojana), people of economically weaker income groups are provided
houses. Under this scheme, people can buy houses in urban or rural areas at
very cheap prices. CLSS or Credit Linked Subsidy is available for the first
time buying a house in PM Awas Yojana. That is, an interest subsidy is provided
on the home loan to buy the house. Under this scheme, the government has set a
target of providing affordable housing to people in urban areas by 2022. The
government has extended the credit-linked subsidy scheme until 31 March 2021.
Uttar Pradesh Housing Development
Council has started booking for PM Awas Yojana. For this, houses of 3516 PM
housing scheme will be made available in 19 cities of the state, which has started
from September 1, 2020. The poor will get this house only for Rs. 3.50 lakhs.
Bookings have been opened in Lucknow for a maximum of 816 houses. Under this
scheme, people can apply online until 15 October.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,
certain conditions have been laid for the house. Under this scheme, only houses
will be given to those, whose annual income is less than Rs 3 lakh. Such people
will get houses for just Rs 3.50 lakh. They will have 3 years to return this
amount. For your information, let us tell you that earlier the UP Housing
Development Council had made a proposal to give a house on the instalment of 5
years. But, now changing it to 3 years.
Under PM Awas Yojana, 816 houses will
be booked in Lucknow. Apart from this, registration will be done for 624 houses
in Ghaziabad, 480 in Jagriti Vihar in Meerut and 396 in Gonda, Mainpuri,
Fatehpur, Hardoi, Rae Bareli and Meerut. At the same time, the booking will be
done for 48-48 houses in Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Unnao, Bahraich, Mau, Balrampur,
Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Unnao, Bahraich, Mau, Balrampur and Barabanki.
How can the application? Applications
under the PM Awas Yojana can be applied through offline and online. One can
apply for online under https://pmaymis.gov.in/. Apart from this, offline can be
applied for the scheme by filling the form available through the Common Service
Center (CSC).
