1. The security thread (fake thread) in a fake note is thick and rough and is not even clear print.

 

2. In the fake 2000 note, the rupee mark is thicker than the real one.

 

3. A fake 2000 rupee note is printed with a high-quality laser printer, so the colour of the original note is more bright.

 

4. Braille mark (ridges) made in the real note can be felt by touching, whereas in a fake note they do not feel the bulge. Meaning it is not printed properly.

 

5. Latent image, when looking at the brown box made in the note diagonally, it shows a shape of 2000, whereas this figure is not seen in the fake note.

 

6. The 2000 mark written in green in the original note can be seen as luminous waves, which can be counted and the note changes colour to look blue as it slips.

 

7. Please see the watermark on the 2000 note. A photo of Mahatma Gandhi is made in the watermarked place of all real notes. When you make the note slightly slant, you will see Gandhiji's photo in the watermark. It does not appear in the fake note.

 

8. In the note of Micro-lettering, 2000, 2000 and RBI are written in very small letters in the inner part of the yellow line. This can be seen well with the help of magnifying glass.

SEBI introduces a new category of funds flexi-cap in mutual funds

  Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced a new fund category, Flexi-cap, in mutual funds. According to the circular, mutual funds in this category need to invest at least 65 per cent of the portfolio in equities. However, there is no restriction in terms of allocation to market capitalization range and they can dynamically shift across large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap. So, effectively, the new category of the fund in a mutual fund is how SEBI used to define the multi-cap category until it changed the category's mandate.   On September 11, 2020, SEBI issued a circular informing about the change in the mandate of the multi-cap fund's category. According to the new guidelines of SEBI, multi-cap funds need to allocate 25 per cent of the portfolio to each-large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks, increasing the minimum equity allocation to 75 per cent.
